"Good bye" is a short film based on a story by acclaimed Uruguayan writer Leo Masliah. Set in New York City, it follows the quiet, haunting journey of a man who turns away from the possibility of love and instead chooses the path of solitude and death. A poetic exploration of emotional isolation and missed connections.
The film was an official selection Cortocircuito: The Latino Short Film Festival of New York 2009, and at the Bogotá International Film Festival 2009, , and the In Vitro Visual International Festival 2009, where it received nominations for Best Short Film, Best Screenplay, Best Actor, and Best Actress. It won Best Narrative Short Film at the Manizales Short Film Festival 2009 and Best Short Film at Film Annex (New York).
